  • Campers who have used the tent mentioned: They were happy with the easy setup and durable construction. Color-matched clips and such may not be necessary for such a small tent but are a nice touch to make it that much easier. It has performed well in the rain and stayed dry in the fiercest of storms and wind. One thing that stood out with the Salida is the attachments that go from the tent to the poles that hold it up. I liked how they “twist on,” so if the tent is bumped or blows in the wind, etc. , there is no chance of the tent detaching from the poles.

Some of the lines are a little short to tie around heavy enough rocks. Quite heavy. One door can be a bit of pain with more than one person.
